Saatvaks organisatsiooniks on Avatud Ühiskond MTÜ. Koolituse eesmärk on tuua kokku õpetajad, õppejõud, koolitajad, noorsootöötajad, haridustöötajad, vabaühenduste esindajad ja entusiastid kes otsivad kvaliteetset õpimõõdet, et läbida koolitus, mille eesmärk on arutleda rahvusvahelise üldsuse ja ÜRO liikmete poolt kokku lepitud kestliku arengu eesmärkide võimestamisest. Kestliku arengu eesmärgid, lühend KAE (ingl k Sustainable Development Goals, lühend SDGs) moodustavad ülemaailmse universaalsete eesmärkide ja näitajate kogumi, mis kutsub üles lõpetama vaesust, võitlema kliimamuutuste ja ebavõrdsuse vastu ning kindlustama kõigile inimestele hea elukvaliteet. Kestliku arengu eesmärgid võeti vastu 25. septembril 2015. aastal New Yorgis ÜRO peakorteris toimunud Säästva arengu tippkohtumisel 193 ÜRO liikmesriigi poolt. Eesmärke on kokku 17, mis on jagatud 169 väiksemaks sihtmärgiks, mida tahetakse saavutada hiljemalt 2030. aastaks.
Õpiränne on üheks programmi Euroopa Noored kandvaks ja arendavaks jõuks, sest selle kaudu kujundatakse tulevikku silmas pidades noorsootöö kvaliteeti. See toimub peamiselt läbi rahvusvahelise kogemustevahetuse ning noorsootöötajate täiendkoolituse, aga ka rahvusvaheliste võrgustike ja partnerlussuhete arengu toetamise. Noorsootöötajate õpirände kaudu edendatakse väga erinevaid tegevusvorme – alates diskussioonidest Euroopa noorsoopoliitika päevakorralistel teemadel ja lõpetades konkreetsete projektide teostuseks vajalike partnerlussuhete arendamisega.
Noorsootöötajate osalus õpirändes panustab samuti organisatsiooni tegevussuutlikkuse arengusse.

General information and description of the project
The training course “PRO(IMPACT) – Working towards social impact” takes place 28.02.2019 – 04.03.2019 in Portugal, Agueda, including four team members from Estonia. The second workgroup meeting will be held in Romania, dates are yet to be set. The partner organisations are from: Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain, Estonia, North-Macedonia, Greece & Poland.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as an example, set by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda, are goals aimed at eradicating problems that limit social change. In this sense, the work aimed at generating social impacts is increasing. However, there is a gap in the understanding of concepts such as social impact, entrepreneurship and social innovation and their transferability to youth intervention. Within the scope of the project, the social problem has a greater focus on the social exclusion of young people as a consequence of the absence of effectively impacting, entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives that pave the way for solving young people’s problems and needs and for the consequent transformation of social reality.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. The SDGs, set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and intended to be achieved by the year 2030, are part of UN Resolution 70/1, the 2030 Agenda.

The goals are broad based and interdependent. The 17 sustainable development goals each have a list of targets which are measured with indicators. In an effort to make the SDGs successful, data on the 17 goals has been made available in an easily-understood form. A variety of tools exist to track and visualize progress towards the goals.
Applicant organization: PROACTING
PROACTING is a non-profit association founded in 2019, after a fusion of knowledge and experience, by its constituent elements, accumulated within the scope of its work in MINDSET – Social Consulting (2016) and APOGESD – Portuguese Association of Sports Management (1996). PROACTING is born of a joint identification of problems and of the absence of solutions that incite a new course for the transformation of social reality. It recognizes the problems and the current needs, especially in the spectrum of the young people and in the field of social inclusion, entrepreneurship, employability and even innovation. With a priori knowledge of the immense challenges and barriers imposed on young people for personal, social and professional development, PROACTING aims to be a vehicle for access to new experiences that enable, not only the development of skills – as well as the recognition -, but also access to opportunities that enable individuals to reflect, (co)create and act for internal and external change. In this way, our focus of intervention, although not reducing to this group, is mainly focused on the young people and the relation/interaction that exists between the individual and his community and society. We aim to equip and empower with new competences, new learning and new experiences, all those who identify problems and needs and who effectively understand their active role in building a new path.
Considering the scope of intervention of PROACTING, the association assumes as intervention purposes:
1. Support, promote and foster the harmonious development of society;
2. Foster and develop cooperation and solidarity among Associates, and between them and the community, on the basis of initiatives;
3. Promote the study, recognition and diffusion of knowledge and information, cooperating with public and private entities, aiming at social development;
4. Develop empowerment initiatives to enhance competences, increase autonomy and sustainability, and strengthen identity, both personal and institutional;
5. Integrate transversally into its action the principles of networking and partnerships between organisations, promoting the creation and strengthening of social capital and favouring joint actions and projects;
6. Promote citizenship, human rights, inclusion, innovation and social development;
7. Promote opportunities for education and empowerment, access to knowledge, development and recognition of competences;
8. Promote creativity and entrepreneurship;
9. Promote equal opportunities;
10. Promote the exchange and cooperation with national and foreign bodies and organisations;
11. Compete for programs and projects aimed at supporting and financing the Association’s initiatives;
12. Develop mechanisms for the promotion, qualification and valuation of volunteering;
13. Edit magazines, newspapers and other documents of relevant interest;
14. Organize sessions, meetings, colloquiums, conferences, seminars and events;
15. Promote empowerment sessions with a view to social promotion and development.
The aims of the training programme:
- Promote the social inclusion of young people;
- Empower youth workers to understand, manage and assess social impact;
- Empower youth workers to develop impactful, entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives and projects;
- Promote quality intervention and cross-border reference by youth workers and youth organisations;
- Promote the sharing of know-how, experiences, good practices and tools aimed at generating social impact, entrepreneurship and social innovation in youth;
- Promote the incorporation of methodologies and working methods of non- formal, informal and formal education that encourage the transformation of social reality.
Long term aims, impacts and benefits:
- Development of key competences for lifelong learning;
- Development of competences and learning in the spectrum of management and social impact assessment, with direct impact on the improvement of initiatives and activities recommended to young people;
- Recognition of the importance of social impact management and assessment in the pursuit of social change;
- Improvement of youth work intervention developed by youth workers and organisations;
- Adoption of competences recognition and validation processes, ensuring the use of certificates and reflection and conceptualization dynamics;
- Ability to work directly and reinforced with young people with fewer opportunities.

Who can participate in the training course:
Participants should be 18+ years old, motivated to take part in all stages of the project (preparation, realization, follow up), have a fluent command of English language, the gender balance in the group is advisable but not compulsory.
Participants must be youth workers or local youth leaders, able to use the new gained skills and experiences in their youth work.
✓ Youth workers, youth leaders who directly work with young people with different cultural backgrounds e.g. refugees, migrants, foreign kids, young people coming home from other countries, minorities, Roma young people, etc.
✓ Having organisational support for further cooperation;
✓ Open to recognise own stereotypes and prejudices and work on these;
✓ Willing to adapt intercultural education into their youth work realities based on the needs of their target groups;
✓ Ready to take part in the whole project;
✓ To be able to communicate English language.
The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. Participants will receive a “Youthpass” certificate which describes and validates the non-formal and informal learning experience gained during the project. Youthpass is a European recognition tool for non-formal and informal learning in youth work, developed by SALTO, initially for the Youth in Action programme. Youthpass is for projects funded by Erasmus+ youth programmes and helps the participants of those projects to record their learning and skills development, which could then be used to support job applications or applications for further courses for example. The applicants will be notified 10.04.2019 the latest.
