Saatvaks organisatsiooniks on Avatud Ühiskond MTÜ. Koolituse eesmärk on tuua kokku üliõpilased, noored, vabatahtlikud, õpetajad, õppejõud, koolitajad, õpipoisid, noorsootöötajad, ja haridustöötajad, et mõtestada ühiselt kuidas pakkuda noorsootööga seonduvaid e-teenuseid noortele kvaliteetsemalt.
Õpiränne on üheks programmi Euroopa Noored kandvaks ja arendavaks jõuks, sest selle kaudu kujundatakse tulevikku silmas pidades noorsootöö kvaliteeti. See toimub peamiselt läbi rahvusvahelise kogemustevahetuse ning noorsootöötajate täiendkoolituse, aga ka rahvusvaheliste võrgustike ja partnerlussuhete arengu toetamise. Noorsootöötajate õpirände kaudu edendatakse väga erinevaid tegevusvorme – alates diskussioonidest Euroopa noorsoopoliitika päevakorralistel teemadel ja lõpetades konkreetsete projektide teostuseks vajalike partnerlussuhete arendamisega.
Noorsootöötajate osalus õpirändes panustab samuti organisatsiooni tegevussuutlikkuse arengusse. Aastal 2021 pööratakse Erasmus+ programmis erilist tähelepanu noorsootöötajate pädevuste arendamisele ja meetodite jagamisele, mis aitavad edasi anda meie ühiskonna põhiväärtusi ja ära hoida noorte radikaliseerumist.

General information and description of the project – Objectives
- To increase critical thinking, internet literacy and sense of initiative of YP to build a safe space for participation online;
- To develop a shared understanding of youth participation online and analyse the achievements and pitfalls of current youth participation in these processes;
- To explore what are the rights, the means, the spaces, the opportunities and the support required by YP to meaningfully participate in the shaping of the Internet;
- To engage YP online and develop their capacity and competencies in active participation in the life of the community; To create opportunities for participation of YP with disadvantages through the online space;
- To equip youth workers with different tools and practices of involving youth to active participation online;
- To build capacities of youth organizations through sharing and exploring the tools of engaging youth to active participation in democratic life through online participation and activism.
- We will plan 32 local workshops and the online campaign with, for and by YP to promote active offline and online youth participation for with and by YP with different cultural backgrounds in the following 2 years.
- We will edit an e-booklet on the List of benefits and risks of YP’ online participation and Descriptions of online tools for supporting the safe online participation of YP.
- We will invent together at least 16 international youth exchanges to involve YP to fight against hate speech towards YP different cultural backgrounds in the following 2 years.
- We will start partnership building among 12 local youth organisations of the host partner and the other 9 partners of our consortium to sustain the outcomes of our project within future intercultural cooperation. Professional learning needs of our fellow youth workers, youth leaders:
- We will increase critical thinking and internet literacy of youth workers to build a safe space for participation online for YP with a special focus on having culturally diverse backgrounds such as minorities, refugees, migrants, Roma, etc.;
- We will develop a shared understanding of youth participation online and analyse the achievements and pitfalls of current youth participation in these processes;
- We will explore what are the rights and the opportunities and the support required by YP to meaningfully participate in the shaping of the Internet;
- We will share and explore youth work methods and tools to engage YP online and develop their capacity and competencies in active participation in the life of the community
– develop a shared understanding of youth participation online and analyse the achievements and pitfalls of current youth participation in these processes;
– explore what are the rights and the opportunities and the support required by YP to meaningfully participate in the shaping of the Internet;
equip youth workers with different tools and practices of involving youth to active participation online and fighting against hate speech towards different culturally YP;
build capacities of youth organizations through sharing and exploring the tools of engaging youth to active participation in democratic life through online participation and activism;
initiate international youth projects on online activism and participation of YP according to the proposals of the Erasmus+ programme.
Activities
getting-to-know each other and building common group; understanding the main concepts and issues (youth participation, the level of youth participation in the communities of participants online and offline, media literacy), equipping with the tools of youth participation online (civic activism tools, e-governance tools), planning local initiatives and the youth exchange projects, evaluation of the training course.
Participants will be 40 youth workers who directly work with young people with different cultural backgrounds e.g. refugees, migrants, foreign kids, young people coming home from other countries, minorities, Roma young people, etc. It is not necessary that the same participants would be involved in each Activity on behalf of partners, however, it is obligatory to participate in the implementation of the Practise Phase to participate in any of the Activities.

-Descriptions of online tools for supporting the safe online participation of young people
-Lists of digital tools and techniques to reduce online footprint and make it safe for young people for their online participation.
-Descriptions of local online youth No Hate Speech Campaigns addressing different culturally young people.
We will start partnership building among 12 local youth organisations of the host partner and the other 9 partners of our consortium to sustain the outcomes of our project within future intercultural cooperation.
Themes of the long-term training course:
– Raising digital competencies of youth workers to activate participation of youth online;
– Inventing youth work methods and tools to empower online participation and activism of culturally
– diverse youth such as minorities, refugees, migrants and Rome young people;
– To create and practise safe digital participation tools for young people based on the impact of COVID19. The overall aim of the long term training course is to improve the digital competencies of youth workers, youth leaders being able to support culturally disadvantaged young people regarding the topics of youth participation, analysis of the level of youth participation in their communities, tools and fields of online youth participation, tackling the role of Internet literacy for online youth participation and online activism based on the impact of COVID19.

Learning objectives of the 1 st training course are:
– To increase critical thinking and internet literacy of youth workers to build a safe space for participation online for young people with a special focus on having culturally diverse backgrounds such as minorities, refugees, migrants, Roma, etc.;
– To develop a shared understanding of youth participation online and analyse the achievements and pitfalls of current youth participation in these processes based on the impact of COVID19 in youth work;
– To explore what are the rights and the opportunities and the support required by young people to meaningfully participate in the shaping of the Internet;
– To share and explore youth work methods and tools to engage young people online and develop their capacity and competencies in active participation in the life of the community after COVID19.
Learning objectives of the 2 and training course are:
– To create opportunities for participation of young people with diverse cultural background through the online space;
– To equip youth workers with different tools and practices of involving youth to active participation online and fighting against hate speech towards different culturally young people;
– To build capacities of youth organizations through sharing and exploring the tools of engaging youth to active participation in democratic life through online participation and activism based on the impact of COVID19;
– To initiate international youth projects on online activism and participation of young people according to the proposals of the Erasmus+ programme.
The methodology of the long term training course:
The project will be based on a non-formal educational methodology. A variety of non-formal learning methods and techniques will be applied to address the different needs of participants and desired outcomes. It will include the following elements: e-learning before the training course, getting to know each other and building common group; understanding the main concepts and issues (youth participation, the level of youth participation in the communities of participants online and offline, media literacy), equipping with the tools of youth participation online (civic activism tools, e-governance tools), planning local initiatives and the youth exchange projects, evaluation of the long term training course.
Who can participate in the long term training course:
– Youth workers, youth leaders who directly work with young people with fewer opportunities especially with refugees and migrants’ backgrounds, minorities, Roma, etc. ;
– Youth workers, youth leaders who plan to improve their digital competencies for supporting safe and meaningful online participation of young people based on the impact of COVID19;
– Ready to take part in the whole training course;
– To be able to communicate in the English language.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. Participants will receive a “Youthpass” certificate which describes and validates the non-formal and informal learning experience gained during the project. Youthpass is a European recognition tool for non-formal and informal learning in youth work, developed by SALTO, initially for the Youth in Action programme. Youthpass is for projects funded by Erasmus+ youth programmes and helps the participants of those projects to record their learning and skills development, which could then be used to support job applications or applications for further courses for example. The applicants will be notified on 02.08.2021 at the latest.
