Õpiränne Lätis: “You(th) are Europe!”

Saatvaks organisatsiooniks on Avatud Ühiskond MTÜ. Koolituse eesmärk on tuua kokku üliõpilased, noored, vabatahtlikud, õpetajad, õppejõud, koolitajad, õpipoisid, noorsootöötajad, ja haridustöötajad, et mõtestada üldise eesmärgina kuidas omandada sügavamaid teadmisi Euroopa noortestrateegia kohta ning noorsootöö suundadest aastatel 2019-2027. Koolitus keskendub noorte võimestamisele kohalikul tasandil, kuid samas loob paremad eeldused, et toetada sihtrühma ka rahvusvahelise noorsootöö valdkonnas.
Õpiränne on üheks programmi Euroopa Noored kandvaks ja arendavaks jõuks, sest selle kaudu kujundatakse tulevikku silmas pidades noorsootöö kvaliteeti. See toimub peamiselt läbi rahvusvahelise kogemustevahetuse ning noorsootöötajate täiendkoolituse, aga ka rahvusvaheliste võrgustike ja partnerlussuhete arengu toetamise. Noorsootöötajate õpirände kaudu edendatakse väga erinevaid tegevusvorme – alates diskussioonidest Euroopa noorsoopoliitika päevakorralistel teemadel ja lõpetades konkreetsete projektide teostuseks vajalike partnerlussuhete arendamisega.
Noorsootöötajate osalus õpirändes panustab samuti organisatsiooni tegevussuutlikkuse arengusse. Aastal 2021 pööratakse Erasmus+ programmis erilist tähelepanu noorsootöötajate pädevuste arendamisele ja meetodite jagamisele, mis aitavad edasi anda meie ühiskonna põhiväärtusi ja ära hoida noorte radikaliseerumist.

General information and description of the project – Objectives
Themes of the training course: The renewed EU Youth Strategy “Engaging, Connecting and Empowering young people” proposed by the European Commission for 2019 – 2027 and its challenges and good practice. Inventing youth projects in local and European level based on the 3 objectives of the Strategy such as Engage, Connect and Empower young people and its 11 youth goals such as
1. Connecting EU with youth;
2. Equality of all genders;
3. Inclusive societies;
4. Information and constructive dialogue;
5. Mental health and wellbeing;
6. Moving rural youth forward;
7. Quality employment for all;
8. Quality learning;
9. Space and participation for all;
10. Sustainable green Europe;
11. Youth organisations and European programmes.
Exploring Erasmus+ programme and European Solidarity Coros as tools for implementing objectives and youth goals of the Strategy. The overall aim of the training course is to gain deeper knowledge on European Youth Strategy as main direction of youth work between 2019 and 2027 in local and European level. Inventing youth projects in local and European level based on the 3 objectives of the Strategy such as Engage, Connect and Empower young people and its 11 youth goals such as

4. Information and constructive dialogue;
5. Mental health and wellbeing;
6. Moving rural youth forward;
7. Quality employment for all;
8. Quality learning; share their point of views, experiences and practices concerning the Strategy and its objectives and youth goals. Inventing tools and projects based on the needs of their target groups along the Strategy.
Learning objectives of the training course are:
– To raise understanding on the objectives of new European Youth Strategy “Engaging, Connecting and Empowering young people”;
– To foster understanding of its main objectives as engaging, connecting and empowering young people and its youth goals such as
1. Connecting EU with youth;
2. Equality of all genders;
3. Inclusive societies;
4. Information and constructive dialogue;
5. Mental health and wellbeing;
6. Moving rural youth forward;
7. Quality employment for all;
8. Quality learning;
9. Space and participation for all;
10. Sustainable green Europe;
11. Youth organisations and European programmes.
– To exchange experiences and good practice on local and international youth activities based on the objectives and youth goals of the Strategy then to discover and explore its challenges.
– To prepare a recommendation on possible tools and projects in order to put the Strategy into practice.
The methodology of the training course:
The training course will be based on methodology of non – formal education. As our participants are experts on the youth work field and working with different European youth projects e.g. Erasmus+ programme and European Solidarity Corps, we will use absolutely participative methods as OSM (Open Space Methodology), workshops run by participants, presentations of good practices, project development, etc.
Who can participate in the training course:
– Above 18 and there is no upper age limit;
– Youth workers, trainers, project managers directly working with young people, having experience of working with different European youth projects as Erasmus+ programme;
– Ready to take part in the whole seminar and take facilitator role for certain workshop;
– Be able to communicate English.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants – up to 275 euros. Participants will receive a “Youthpass” certificate which describes and validates the non-formal and informal learning experience gained during the project. Youthpass is a European recognition tool for non-formal and informal learning in youth work, developed by SALTO, initially for the Youth in Action programme. Youthpass is for projects funded by Erasmus+ youth programmes and helps the participants of those projects to record their learning and skills development, which could then be used to support job applications or applications for further courses for example. The applicants will be notified on 02.08.2021 at the latest.
